About Me
Hi there! My name is Leah Katchur. I’m a San Diego-based artist looking to promote my art and work with other local artists to gain more experience in the art world! I want nothing more than to meet other people in my field and learn how to improve my own work and gain connections. All of my work is for sale, and I also accept commissions.
About My Art
I love to create art inspired by all things strange and surreal. I currently work part-time in security at the San Diego Museum of Art, which gives me the chance to be inspired by a wide range of art styles. I’ve recently grown particularly fond of the German Expressionist movement, as well as Impressionism from all over the world. I’m also greatly inspired by iconic horror and thriller movies such as John Carpenter’s The Thing (1982) and David Cronenberg’s The Fly (1986).
My Experience
